Patrick Melton was born and raised in Frankfort, Kentucky. His family moved to Lexington, Kentucky, when he was 13, which he found difficult to adjust to. Patrick decided to focus on sports and academics, building teamwork and leadership skills by playing sports throughout his life. His parents instilled a strong work ethic, leading him to spend long hours at the gym and practicing.
Patrick pursued his passion for health and fitness in high school by working at a local gym. He studied the fundamentals of exercise science and nutrition, becoming involved in the fitness community. Patrick began sharing his knowledge by teaching group classes. He developed a genuine love for positively impacting others’ lives through fitness.


During his senior year of high school, Patrick was accepted into the exercise science program at the University of Kentucky. He enjoys learning about what he is passionate about every day.
